"Going to Extreme " Chapter 2 "Ah-ha." Dorothy smirked as the crowd thinned, and she could easily spot Heero and Trowa sitting at a short distance. "Ah-ha, what?" Relena asked and stepped up to her lover. "I spy our little donor." Dorothy cooed and Relena followed her gaze. "Your 'Heero sense' must have dull over the years, Relena dear. Had it been five years ago, you would have been able to locate him since we stepped from the cab." "If that sense stayed intact, you would constantly be super jealous. Let's not waste time and energy. He's going to say 'no' anyways." "And how do you know this?" "Because. . .because he's Heero. . .and he hates me, so why would he willingly give me the means to have his child?" Dorothy sighed in aggravation. "Relena, I'm certain you're over reacting. It's been five years, I'm sure he's grown up since then." "I'm not so sure. His feelings toward me have nothing to do with maturity." "Well, we won't know unless we try." Dorothy started off for the two men, but Relena snatched her wrist. "Let's just go Dorothy." "Are you afraid of him?" "No. Of course not." "Then what harm comes of asking?" Relena's eyes fell from Dorothy's gaze. She could see how uncertainly was still lingering in her mind. "Look, the day we exchanged vows, I swore to make you happy. . .and I will. We both know that right now, Heero can do that for us. If it's Heero's sperm you want, then it's Heero's sperm you get. . .regardless the cost." With nothing more to say, she headed toward Heero. A new sense of air followed her. Before, it was polite curiosity, now it was aggressive determination. "Hello Heero and Trowa." Both men reluctantly looked up at Dorothy's arrival. In truth, they noticed her the same time she did them; they only chose to ignore it and hoped she would too. Figuring no eye contact was better than an offensive one, Trowa sat back in his seat and closed his eyes. A moment after Dorothy approached, Relena appeared. She wasn't sure why being around Heero all of a sudden made her uncomfortable. Maybe it was due to the scene they were caught up in the last time they saw each other. Needless to say, it did not end well. "It's good to see you again Heero." Relena spoke more clearly than her mind was working. "What do you want?" Trowa asked, not wanting Heero's silence to prolong their stay. "Perhaps a quick breakfast before our flights?" Trowa popped open one eye to watch Dorothy closely. Of what he gathered of the blonde, nice wasn't her strong suit. "After all, the two of you left the hotel early. I figured you hadn't eaten yet." "We're good." Heero assured. "What's the real reason you're here?" Dorothy smiled at Trowa's question. He was still bluntly rude. Relena felt like shrinking away. The way Heero's eyes just now shifted toward her, it was as if he had a feeling why Dorothy was doing all the talking. "It's been so long since we seen either of you. We shouldn't really lose touch, just because the Gundams are destroyed." She took a seat across from them. Friendliness was all she showed at this time. "So are the two of you seeing each other? Last I heard, Trowa was with-" "Things change." Trowa snapped, clearly it was a touchy subject. "Indeed. Relena, why don't you get everyone a coffee and cinibon?" It was her way of telling her partner she wanted time alone with Heero. "Trowa, would you help her?" Trowa studied Dorothy closely with suspicion, but did as requested after a quick nod from Heero. "Heero, I don't think I need to tell you just how much dear Relena adores you." "Cut to the chase." "We want to have a baby, and we would like you to donate." Heero stared at her in sheer shock. "What?" "We've been thinking about this a long time, and have decided that we would like to have a child. We've already picked out a facility, and everything's a go, we just need someone's sperm to continue. Since we all know you're the perfect candidate, would you be so kind as to bless us with a donation?" "No." "Why not?" "You sound like you're asking for a blood donation." "It's not that big a deal. We're not expecting you to have to be there for the child when it's born. We can take care of it ourselves. . .We'll pay you, if that's any consolidation." "You think money will settle this? Hn. I think 'no' settles this." Dorothy grit her teeth, but did her best to hide it. "But it would make Relena very happy." "That's nice, but it's still not changing my mind. There's literally, billions of people out there, go find someone else." "Look, we're only asking because this way, we know what's going to come out. If we trust just anyone, then who knows what we'll get." Heero didn't feel a need to respond. He gave his answer, and he wouldn't backslide from it. "Come on Heero, just one. You've got tons, I'm sure you could spare just a few. They're wasting away inside Trowa anyways." "Why don't you go ask Quatre? I'm sure, he'll be willing to abide." Dorothy narrowed her eyes at Heero's comment. "Heero-" "What part of 'no' don't you understand? I'm not having anything to do with this." Dorothy leaned back in her chair and reconsidered the situation. "Can you, at least, give me a valid reason why not?" "I think I already have." "Then you're saying that you don't care that Relena, a very dear friend who has helped you many times, carries a bastard child in her womb. . .that the Vice Minister's only happiness that could be brought upon by you, will have her dreams dashed against stubbornness' harsh word?" "Word play all you like, and run as many guilt trips as you believe necessary, it won't change anything." "Heero-" Heero glared at the blonde, obviously getting annoyed with her persistence. "If you don't want to end up with just anything, then do your research thoroughly. I refuse to participate in anything dealing with this matter just because it's convient for you; especially since there are countless perfect, willing candidates in the universe that you can buy off." As he spoke, he pushed to his feet. Trowa studied Relena's averted features. He was curious of what Heero and Dorothy were talking about, but was unsure that he would be able to wait for Heero to tell him later. Especially if Dorothy pushes him on the topic. Heero was the type that wanted to talk about things that upset him, long after he gets over it. "You seem nervous about something." Trowa observed, causing Relena to jump at the sudden conversation start. "A little." "Would it have something to do with what they're discussing?" Relena looked up at the taller man in surprise. She and Trowa didn't really talk too often. . .this was perhaps the most they've said to one another since they were formally introduced by Quatre. "Kind of." "Is it going to upset Heero?" "Upset?" She chuckled nervously. "No. . .it shouldn't upset him. Does he still hate me?" "Despite everything he's gone through, Heero doesn't hate anyone. He may strongly dislike, but he doesn't hate." "Am I still on that list?" "What difference would that make?" "I guess none. So are the two of you living together?" She was attempting to be casual, but it came out suspicious. Trowa caught onto that right away, and Relena silently scorned Dorothy for giving her the impossible part of the plan. Before they had approached the two men, Dorothy had developed a plan. While she spoke with Heero, as a back up plan, Relena was suppose to get as much information from Trowa as possible. Such things as where they live, and if it was together. If they were happy with their current situation. Now, Relena could see failure in her results. "What are you two up to?" Relena smiled nervously, before opening her mouth to answer. "Oh, look, we're next." Trowa acknowledged this fact, but was still curious. He didn't have a chance to ask again as he felt someone approaching from his left. It was Heero. . .a very angry Heero, at that. He stormed toward the pair and grabbed Trowa's upper arm before Relena could begin her order. The sudden movements made by Heero startled her. She snapped her head in his direction in time to receive a glare that she had been use to at one point. "Heero?" "Don't even start." He snapped and pulled Trowa out of line after him. "Heero, what happened?" Trowa asked once they
were far enough from Relena. Heero didn't respond as he lead his lover
toward the men's room. Trowa had a feeling what was coming, and wasn't
really regretting it. A sure fire way for Heero to relieve anger,
stress, or frustration was through sex. No doubt, Dorothy caused one,
if not all, of these conditions. ~ * ~
